Unicef Aotearoa appoints Linda Jenkinson to Chair the board

Linda is the newly appointed Chair of UNICEF NZ. She is the Chair and Cofounder of Globelet – a company providing solutions to single use waste. Globelet represents a long list of social entrepreneurial activity for Linda.


A current Director of Air New Zealand, Eclipx Group, Guild Group, and Harbour Asset Management, Ms Jenkinson brings with her 25 years of global executive management and governance experience.


Ms Jenkinson has a track record in innovation and industry disruption and was the first New Zealand woman, and just the second New Zealander, to list a company of the NASDAQ. As well as being a Founder of three multi-million dollar companies, she was the Founder and Managing Director of WOW Investments, a model social investment fund focused on building women-led enterprises in West Africa.


Linda has been a Director for Red Cross SF, and currently is involved with Icehouse NZ in an international advisory capacity. Linda is interested in scalable solutions to the issues of our time and is passionate about the wellbeing and vitality of children, starting right here in New Zealand and the Pacific.
